1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing and using ClippiJapan ("the Platform"), you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provision of this agreement. If you do not agree to abide by the above, please do not use this service.
2. Use License
Permission is granted to temporarily access the materials on ClippiJapan's website for personal, non-commercial transitory viewing only. This is the grant of a license, not a transfer of title, and under this license you may not:
Modify or copy the materials
Use the materials for any commercial purpose or for any public display
Attempt to reverse engineer any software contained on the Platform
Remove any copyright or other proprietary notations from the materials
3. User Accounts
To access certain features of the Platform, you must register for an account. You agree to:
Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration
Maintain and promptly update your account information
Maintain the security of your password and identification
Accept all responsibility for activities that occur under your account
Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
4. Marketplace Transactions
4.1 Products
When purchasing products through the Platform, you agree to pay the listed price plus any applicable taxes and shipping fees. All sales are final unless otherwise stated. Sellers are responsible for accurate product descriptions and delivery.
Delivery Area:
Unless a listing specifically states otherwise, products are delivered within Japan only, to the delivery location you provide at checkout. It is your responsibility to ensure the specified location can accept package deliveries and to provide accurate delivery details. We recommend placing your order at least 3-5 business days in advance to allow sufficient time for delivery.
Returns and Exchanges:
Return and exchange policies vary by seller; refer to the individual product listing for details. To be eligible for any return or exchange, you must record a continuous, unedited video that begins before the package is opened (including before any tape or seal is broken) and continues without interruption as the item is unboxed. Videos that begin after the package has already been opened, or that contain cuts or edits, will not be accepted as valid proof of condition. This video may be requested by the seller or ClippiJapan support when processing a claim, and failure to provide it may result in denial of the return or exchange request.
4.2 Expert Services
Expert services are provided by independent professionals. ClippiJapan acts as a marketplace platform and is not responsible for the quality or delivery of services. Bookings are subject to cancellation policies set by individual experts.
4.3 Experiences
Experience bookings are subject to availability and may be cancelled or modified by the experience provider. Refunds are subject to the cancellation policy of each individual experience listing.
5. Payment Terms
All payments are processed securely through Stripe. By making a purchase, you agree to:
Pay the full amount including taxes and fees
Provide accurate payment information
Authorize ClippiJapan to charge your payment method
Accept that all prices are in JPY unless otherwise stated
6. Seller Responsibilities
Sellers on ClippiJapan agree to:
Provide accurate and truthful listings, including accurate delivery area availability
Fulfill orders and bookings in a timely manner
Respond to customer inquiries promptly
Honor the video-recorded unboxing requirement when evaluating return or exchange claims
Comply with all applicable laws and regulations
Maintain appropriate insurance where required
7. Prohibited Activities
You agree not to:
Use the Platform for any illegal purpose
Post false, misleading, or fraudulent information
Infringe on intellectual property rights
Harass, abuse, or harm other users
Interfere with the Platform's security features
Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Platform
8. Intellectual Property
All content on the Platform, including text, graphics, logos, images, and software, is the property of ClippiJapan or its content suppliers and is protected by international copyright laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without written permission.
9. Limitation of Liability
ClippiJapan acts as a marketplace platform connecting buyers and sellers. We are not responsible for:
The quality, safety, or legality of items listed
The accuracy of listings or seller information
The ability of sellers to complete transactions
The ability of buyers to pay for items
Delays or failures in delivery caused by the delivery location, courier, or circumstances outside the seller's control
Any disputes between buyers and sellers
10. Dispute Resolution
In the event of a dispute between users, ClippiJapan encourages parties to resolve issues directly. If a resolution cannot be reached, ClippiJapan may, at its discretion, assist in mediation. All disputes are subject to the laws of Japan.
11. Modifications to Terms
ClippiJapan reserves the right to modify these terms at any time. We will notify users of significant changes via email or platform notification. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
